Seth Neumann has joined the Belmont UMC staff as our new Human Resources Manager. Seth brings over 10 years of HR experience in Chicago and Nashville. His tasks will include payroll, benefit management, hiring and onboarding, workers compensation, background checks, employee relations, and other HR related tasks for the nearly 50 Weekday School and church employees.

Seth hails from East Tennessee (Elizabethton to be specific), but has been a Nashvillian since 2012. He holds a BBA with a concentration in human resources from East Tennessee State University as well as a masters degree in human resources from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign and has spent the past thirteen years working in human resources, primarily in the music and entertainment industry. Seth has been married for the past eight years to his wife, Sarah Neumann. They have two boys, Noah (6) and Judah (2) as well as a very friendly goldendoodle, Mumford. It should be noted that Mumford predates the children, so it was in God's providence that they ended up with ‘Mumford & Sons’. They live and attend church in Bellevue at Good Shepherd Anglican Church. In his spare time, Seth enjoys running, kayaking/canoeing, road biking, and really anything that gets him outside. The Neumann family are also big Nashville SC supporters! Seth is active as a volunteer in his church as well as various non-profits in the community.
