Young Adult Sunday school class

Foundations Class

Learning to be an independent adult also means re-evaluating the religion (or lack thereof) of our parents, family, or home. Join with other young adults in college, grad school, and the workforce as we articulate our faith stories and define the foundation of who we are as people of God. Class format varies from lectionary-based discussion on Scripture to mixed media and modern topics surrounding faith. In addition, we offer fellowship in service, mission, and around the table. Meets in room 225.

Foundations Class to join RMN
The Foundations Sunday School class for young adults has decided to join the Reconciling Ministries Network (RMN), a decision made after several months of conversations, as a whole group and in smaller groups. The purpose of the Foundations class is to grow closer to God alongside our peers. Inclusion is central to this goal. We also recognize that it is often difficult for some members of our community to find a welcoming place to pursue God’s will for their lives. We feel that advertising our class with RMN will help others find a group that is seeking God, and in doing so we will fulfill a core purpose of our class. If you would like to join us, we meet in room 225 at 9:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings. All are welcome!
