We, the readers, bring ourselves to scripture seeking to be radially open to its divine depths. Reading scripture with spiritual companions allows us to commune with one another and with God. The format is simple: welcoming, centering in God’s presence and praying for God’s illumination, reading the text and meditating on it, then sharing what we notice from the text.
