An event every week that begins at 7:00 pm on Tuesday, repeating until May 2, 2023
Via Zoom. Wisdom, our bonds to the natural world, and creation care are the themes of a new four-week spring book discussion series. The first book is “Braiding Sweetgrass” by the indigenous scientist Robin Wall Kimmerer (Milkweed). This book has slowly become a best seller since its publication. The short second book is “Sacred Nature” by the well-known analyst of religion and spirituality, Karen Armstrong (Penguin). We will also look at the Judeo-Christian ethic of creation care as outlined by our denomination. Go to belmontumc.org/book-discussion for details.
