On Sunday, August 9, during the 10:30am worship service, children (babies through 6th grade) are invited to participate in our Blessing of the Backpacks (and diaper bags)! We’ll pray for a safe and wonderful school year, and each child will receive a special tag for their backpack or diaper bag.
Bring your backpack or diaper bag to worship, and if you haven’t already, purchase a book from the Eakin Book Drive list and bring it with you. Books may be placed at the communion rail.
