Children

Belmont believes that every child is a unique and beloved individual created by God. Our congregation seeks to uphold our baptismal vows as we support children (ages birth through sixth grade) on their lifelong faith journey in service with others. We seek to live like Jesus and share God’s love by supporting children, parents and caregivers, and by sharing resources and support as the church family. For more information, contact Amy Cooper, Director of Children’s Ministries, Music, and Families.

Sunday school is a safe community of children and teachers learning about God and neighbor! We have classes for toddlers through 6th graders.

Through singing songs of faith, we honor God and learn theology! We offer three age-specific choirs and a parent-child music group, welcoming children of all musical abilities, including those with extra needs.

We provide a nursery, staffed by our excellent childcare who will love and care for infants-3 year olds during the 10:30 worship service. Our sign in/sign out system alerts workers to allergies and any extra needs.

Through worship and events like Back to Belmont Bash, Advent Family Craft Night and the Palm Sunday parade, children and families strengthen the family of God!
