

Please join the children’s choir which best fits your child’s age/grade. Choirs typically sing in worship once a month.
Joyful Noise Singers Choir (Children ages 4 & 5/Kindergarten) – This group is introduced to music through the use of simple children’s songs and fun musical games. .
Music Makers (Children grades 1-2) – These young musicians learn the basics of music reading through singing and playing musical instruments.
Chapel Choir (Children grades 3-6) – This choral experience for elementary children continues to challenge the growing musician through singing, playing instruments, and musical games. Choristers sing in worship once a month, as well as participate in the Feast of Lights at Christmas. Often the Chapel Choir presents a musical in the spring.
Children’s Chimes (Grades 4th-6th) in room 217 on the 2nd floor children’s hallway – This group for beginning handbell ringers rehearses in the fall for 8 weeks, and again in the spring for 8 weeks. Children’s Chimes play in worship twice during the year.

Parent and Child Music – Parent and Child Music meets periodically on Saturday mornings at 10:00am. See Belmont UMC’s newsletters and Children’s Ministry updates for specific dates. Also, if you would like to schedule a “Music on Wheels” session for your infant or preschooler, please contact Amy Cooper for an individual meeting.
