Got outgrown school uniforms to clear out this summer? We’ve got the perfect solution – partnering with our friends at UniCycle, a school uniform recycling program that collects and distributes items to MNPS students.
Help UniCycle stock their shelves for back-to-school season and support Homeless Education Resource Office (HERO) students by donating your “outgrown, not worn out” school uniform items. They’re especially in need of polo-style shirts; khaki, black, or navy pants, shorts, skirts, and jumpers. Belts and leggings are also welcome.
Donations will be accepted throughout June and July at the Iris Room entrance—just look for the UniCycle/HERO collection box.
Prefer to shop instead? UniCycle’s wish list includes NEW underwear in all sizes, from youth 4T up to adult 2X. For school uniform needs, tops and bottoms in youth sizes 10–16 and women’s small and medium polos are especially appreciated.
