Our spiritual practices help open our hearts to God and one another. Each week at Belmont UMC we have a group that gathers via Zoom for Lectio Divina, and a group that meets in-person and via Zoom for Centering Prayer.
Lectio Divina is a way of listening to scripture as if we were in conversation with God. It is listening with the ear of our hearts. This group meets at 10:00am on Wednesday mornings via Zoom.
Centering Prayer is a way of opening our whole being to the mystery of God beyond thoughts, words, and emotions. This group meets at 8:00am on Thursday mornings in the 2nd floor prayer room and via Zoom.
