Plan to join us on Wednesday, February 25, at 6:00pm in room 124 for a special Wednesday Night at Belmont (WNAB) program on immigration realities in Nashville. Our featured guest will be the Rev. Myriam Cortes, pastor at Iglesia Metodista Unida Ebenezer. Ebenezer UMC is a partner church with Belmont UMC, and dozens of Belmonters support English classes and other programming there. Pastor Cortes will talk about the daily lives of Hispanic immigrants in the area. The format will primarily be question-and-answer, so come prepared with questions about how non-immigrants can be better informed, and more importantly, how we can help.
