January 16-23, 2026, Belmont UMC will lead a mission team to Mexico to work with Give Ye Them to Eat (GYTTE), a ministry founded by the Methodist Church of Mexico in 1977 to combat hunger and poverty in rural communities. Just as the Wise Men followed the star to bring their gifts to Jesus, you are invited to share gifts with families in rural southern Mexico.
Instead of gold, frankincense, and myrrh, we are collecting toothbrushes, travel-size toothpaste, Band-Aids, and small tubes of antibiotic ointment.
On January 11, our children will present the collected gifts, which will then be delivered by our Mexico mission team members.
Donations can be dropped off in the suitcase located in the Faith Finders Hall.
