The Feast of Lights remains one of the most favorable traditions in our church’s calendar. This service of worship is led by Belmont UMC’s Music Ministry as a celebration of the birth of Christ told through the gifts of word and music.

An in-person Feast of Lights service will be held on Sunday, December 12, at 6:00pm. Due to the pandemic, we will only fill the sanctuary to half-capacity (400 congregants). If you’d prefer to watch online, the service will be available for viewing on Facebook, YouTube, and Vimeo beginning at 6:00pm on Sunday, December 19.

You can reserve your spot for the in-person service online by clicking here. Covid safety protocols for this service will be in accordance with scientific guidelines at the time of the service. There is no need to reserve a spot for the online service.

Preschool Childcare for the December 12 service will be available by reservation only. You can make your reservation by clicking here.

Certain aspects of the Feast of Lights have remained consistent through its course in history. This year, perhaps more than others, we can look forward to joining in these traditions to praise God for the most precious gift of our Savior.
