Technically, the Star-Quality Child Care Program is a voluntary program, but all programs that provide quality child care find it in their best interest to be recognized by this program.
The Star-Quality Program recognizes child care agencies who exceed minimum licensing standards. These agencies can receive a rating of one, two, or three stars. Childcare programs are assessed on these eight key areas to determine their overall rating: director qualifications, professional development, developmental learning, parent/family engagement, ratio/group size, staff compensation, program assessment (this year we were assessed on literacy), and child health/well-being.
We are very pleased to announce that our hard-working team received the highest achievement on the assessment and THREE-STAR overall rating!\n\n[/cs_content_seo][/cs_element_layout_column][/cs_element_layout_row][/cs_element_section][/cs_content]
