All Belmont UMC women are invited to participate in Church Women United (CWU), an inclusive ecumenical Christian women’s movement committed to unity, peace, and justice.
The first fall meeting will be Friday, September 11, at First Baptist Church Capitol Hill, 900 Nelson Merry Street. Fellowship begins at 9:30am, followed by the meeting at 10:00am. The theme is “Patriot Day,” with guest speaker Rev. Dr. Shane B. Scott, pastor of First Baptist Church Capitol Hill. Parking and entrance are behind the church, just off James Robertson Parkway.
