What does it mean to love our neighbors, even when they may be causing harm? Join us on Wednesday, November 18, at 6:00pm in room 124 as Belmonter Dr. Beth Ritter-Conn explores the tension between the Christian call to welcome everyone and the equally important call to seek justice and accountability. Drawing on the legacy of Will D. Campbell and the Committee of Southern Churchmen, Beth will lead a thoughtful conversation about how we can faithfully engage with those we may see as enemies.
Beth is an Assistant Professor of Religion and Honors at Belmont University and co-editor of The Women’s Christian Theology Reader (2026). Her research focuses on Christian hospitality and feminist theology.
