Belmont UMC's All-Church Retreat (ACR) Committee is excited to announce that our 2024 theme will be “Join Our Storytelling Circle at Beersheba: Stories of Scripture, Faith and Life.” Our speaker will be Dr. Beth Ritter-Conn, Assistant Professor of Religion and Honors at Belmont University. Save October 18-20 for another beautiful All-Church Retreat!

Dr. Ritter-Conn holds a Ph.D. in Systematic and Philosophical Theology from the Graduate Theological Union in Berkeley, CA, and a B.A. in English and M.A. in Theological Studies from Lee University in Cleveland, TN. She teaches Bible and religion courses at Belmont University and regularly preaches in chapel. She is currently co-editing a textbook, the Women’s Christian Theology Reader. Her research and teaching center on theological dimensions of hospitality. She enjoys knitting, yoga, running, and anything that gathers friends and strangers around a table. She lives in East Nashville with her husband Jordan, son Noah, and cat Georgia.
