Lifelong knitter and former Belmont UMC member Mary Barr will once again offer knitting classes during Saturday’s free time at the All-Church Retreat at Beersheba Springs.
Beginner Knitting (1:30–2:30pm) – Learn or refresh the basic knit stitch. All supplies will be provided.
Advanced Beginner (2:30–3:30pm) – Learn to follow a pattern while making a “Grandmother’s Dishcloth” (see photo below). Bring size 5, 6, or 7 needles and one ball of Peaches & Cream 100% cotton yarn. Supplies can be provided upon request.
