Gayle Andrews Sullivan is in her 28th year as Director of Music Ministries of the Belmont United Methodist Church comprehensive program which includes a fully graded program of 11 choirs and ensembles. These include an adult, a youth and 4 children’s singing choirs, a child/parent music class, and 4 handbell ensembles. She is an active clinician for various organ, choral and handbell workshops and provides leadership in planning and providing music for the Tennessee annual conference worship services. She has served on the adjunct faculty of Belmont University school of church music.

As a member of the Nashville Chapter of the American Guild of Organists she has held several leadership positions and served as a clinician on the local and national level. She is a member of the Fellowship of United Methodists in Music, Worship and the Arts and has provided leadership for national conference sessions as a clinician and organist. In 2002 Gayle Sullivan was nominated by Belmont music ministry participants and honored with the Award of Distinction by the National Religious Music Week Alliance. Gayle Sullivan earned a Bachelor of Music degree in organ performance from Birmingham Southern College and a Masters of Church Music degree from Scarritt Graduate School, Nashville, Tennessee and has previously served in music ministry in Texas and Louisiana.
