On Saturday, May 18, and Sunday, May 19, join Intersection and Nashville in Harmony for Spectrum, a concert featuring colorful, new music for chorus and instrumental ensemble. The concert on Saturday will take place at 7:30pm and the concert on Sunday will be at 4:00pm. Both concerts will be at Oz Arts Nashville (6172 Cockrill Bend Circle, Nashville, 37209). This collaborative concert features the world premiere of a jointly commissioned work by composer TJ Cole. The work, titled "Those Moments," draws inspiration directly from personal stories shared by the local LGBTQ+ community and explores the gender spectrum through musical creation. Additional works on the program by Intersection include "Mania" by Esa-Pekka Salonen featuring cellist Michael Samis and "Voodoo Child" by Australian composer Liza Lim featuring Rebekah Alexander. Nashville in Harmony will also present a variety of exciting pieces including “Sogno Di Volare” by Christopher Tin, “Until All of Us Are Free” by Mark Burrows, and many more.
