In July 2018, Belmont UMC supported a Volunteers in Mission (VIM) team that traveled to Malawi to lead training sessions for fifteen congregations on financial life and the church. This February, Herb Mather and Andy Miller will lead four Midweek at Belmont sessions inspired by these trainings and adapted for Belmonters. Come hear stories, scripture, and thoughts on financial matters and our Christian life, all with the goal of creating peace and simplicity where often there is worry and stress. These sessions will meet at 6:00pm in room 202. The four sessions are:
February 6: The Paradox of Abundance: Consumerism and Kingdom Living.
February 13: Do you Really Need that Elephant? Setting Priorities.
February 20: Giving with the Hear and Mind: Creating Meaning through Charity.
February 27: Make, Save, and Give: Wesley on Money.
