Belmont UMC celebrates Robbie Jones as she completes 30 years of dedicated service as our faithful and skilled organist.

During this long tenure, Robbie has provided solo musical offerings for worship as well as accompanied the Sanctuary Choir for rehearsals, retreats, worship services, and for special choral concerts and services.
Robbie has endeared herself to the Belmont Community with her steadfast presence, care, humor and integrity for her profession. Her sensitive musicality, combined with her impeccable skill at the keyboard, bring a sense of creativity, emotion and ease to her music making. She has a brilliant ability to grasp technical concepts such as sight reading difficult music or perfecting complicated repertoire.

As a bonus, Robbie’s family has been active in the music ministry. Pattie and Harry have participated in, and provided leadership for, the Sanctuary Choir. Pattie has also assisted with various tasks with the children’s music ministry. Harry has been on the Altar Guild, and Robbie and Harry have been active members of the Graham Inquirers class.

Thank you Robbie for all you are and for all you have given to the life of Belmont through worship, community connection, and music. Thanks be to God for your faithfulness in sharing your gifts.
