Your Spiritual Core - all your heart, your mind, your soul, and your being
When our lives move at a rapid pace, we can lose touch with our souls and God within us. Busy with activities and bombarded with messages we forget about our spiritual fitness. “While physical (financial, academic, and artistic) training has some value, training in holy living is useful for everything.” (1 Timothy 4:8) Through the practices of daily sabbath, study, communal worship, prayer, community, and service, we grow as disciples. Our souls blossom when we connect with God, connect with a community, and find our distinctive place of service.
On September 16, we will begin a five-week series, Your Spiritual Core, that will consider:
- How daily sabbath helps cure distracted living
- Thinking about life spiritually, how prayer centers your soul
- Why we need spiritual teammates
- How daily practices builds up spiritual integrity
