In Parker Hall. “Worship nerd, musician, writer, photographer, friend of dogs.” All these and more describe Beth Richardson, the featured speaker for this year’s combined event with Edgehill and Belmont UMC’s United Methodist Women. Beth is an editor, an ordained person, and Upper Room’s Director of Prayer and Worship Life. She will share her exciting and inspiring life/faith journey at this year’s summer happening.
The event will include a potluck supper, and those from Belmont are invited to bring items for Edgehill UMC’s “Free Store.” Especially needed are disposable items, such as toilet paper, feminine hygiene products, paper towels, and Kleenex, etc.
Come for an evening of food, fellowship, and celebration of our Edgehill/Belmont UMC’s partnering connections. Men and children are welcome too.
Beth has written three books published by The Upper Room: Christ Beside Me, Christ Within Me: Celtic Blessings, The Uncluttered Heart, and Child of Light. Her most recent book is a collaboration with her canine companion, Jack, and is titled Jack’s Book of Blessings: Celtic Poems by a Scottie Dog. Copies will be available at the event.
