Beginning Tuesday, October 18, our fall book discussion series will feature two novels, Toni Morrison's Home (2012, Vintage International) and Colson Whitehead's The Nickel Boys (2019, Anchor). These works, by two of our greatest writers, raise moral issues embedded in the experience of injustice: the return of an African American soldier from the Korean War, and the story of Elwood and Turner, two "delinquents" sent to a reform school, a story based on the history of a notorious school in Florida that is now closed.

You are invited to join the discussions on Tuesdays 0ctober 18, 25, November 1, 8, and 15, at 7:00pm via Zoom. For more information, contact Pat Ward.
