Director of Program Ministries
Job Description:

To provide for the overall coordination of the program ministries of Belmont United Methodist Church

To provide creative leadership in developing the vision and design of program ministries in response to the strategic emphasis of the congregation:

(1) spiritual growth and Christian accountability
(2) a remarkable Christian education program
(3) development where groups have a sense of belonging
(4) commitment and involving persons in the life of the church and in her ministries

- personal priorities and lifestyle which are consistent with the beliefs and principals of the UMC, which reflect Christian commitment and an earnest desire to grow in the grace of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ
- ability to envision and facilitate long-range planning among leadership groups
- ability to organize and coordinate the many and complex ministries of Belmont UMC
- ability to work with volunteers in a manner that motivates and enables with grace
- love of children. youth and adults and a commitment to their education and nurture as Christians
- ability to work collegially and cooperatively with other professional staff members
- Responsibilities - Director of Program Ministries:
- provide leadership for the Staff and Church Ministries Team
- provide leadership for the Educational Ministries
- provide leadership for the Ministry Council
- provide leadership for church scheduling
- provide supervision for the Food Services
- provide leadership for the Sunday School
- provide leadership for the Wednesday Night At Belmont program
- provide coordination with all community groups and auxiliary ministries
- provide leadership for the "All-Church Retreat" annually
- provide staff liaison for the Weekday Children's Ministry program
- provide coordination for the Disciple Bible Study & Christian Believer programs
- supervise the following staff members: Director of Children's Ministries; Director of Youth Ministries; Weekday School Director; Director of Food Services and the Church Ministries Team Support Staff
