Director of Children's Ministries
Job Description:

Reports to: Director of Program Ministries

Hours: Thirty hours per week

Responsibilities:

1) Directs, plans, executes and evaluates Children's ministries at BUMC

2) Serves as an advocate for the children and their families by providing support,
understanding and guidance

3) Enlists, organizes, trains and resources teams of volunteers for all areas of Children's ministries

4) Secures, coordinates and supervises all paid and non-paid child care staff for all Belmont programming when asked

5) Establishes annual budget requests, reviews and monitors expenses throughout the year on a monthly basis for the Children's Ministry Program including the annual budget needs of the paid childcare staff

6) Communicates all children's events to the Belmont church and outside community as appropriate

7) Acts as the liaison for the Weekday Children's Ministry and the Director of the Program Ministry Team

8) Works in a leadership role for the Belmont Ministry Team

9) Serves as a member of the following: Children's Ministry Team, Education Ministry Team, Program Ministry Team, Administrative Board, Quarterly Worship Planning Team, Weekday Children's Ministry Board and Church Ministry Team.
