This summer, a new ministry team called  “Care Partners” was formed. Care Partners are trained Stephen Ministers and other laypersons who care for people facing crises or challenges with a ministry of listening, presence, and practical help.    

Care Partners make hospital visits, lead support groups, accompany Belmonters to funerals, call people we haven’t seen in a while, provide transportation for running errands, or share time and conversation with those who could use a listening ear. We meet on the third Tuesday evening of each month for continuing education and mutual support. If you feel called to this ministry or would like to learn more, we welcome you to join us! Our next meeting is Tuesday, September 21, from 6:00-8:00 p.m.
