On March 8-23, Heather Harriss, Janet Collins, and Lanecia Rouse will travel to Blantyre, Malawi to serve in ministry with the UMC of Malawi and the Oliver family. We will be learning about the ministries offered by the UMC of Malawi to children and youth, providing training for those who work with children and youth, learning & being in community with the Tiwasunge Community of HIV+ persons (www.praywithafrica.com), and discerning ways we can strengthen the partnership between the children and youth of the UMC of Malawi and BUMC. In and through our offerings, our main work will be bearing witness to Christ’s presence in the world by being in relationship with people, listening, and loving while receiving the same.  We will keep a blog which will be a shared offering of the team.
