Living a Spiritual Life in a Secular World

Wednesdays, 6:00 – 7:00 p.m., January 11 & 18.  Room 124. How can we learn to trust that we are God’s beloved, and live together according to this spiritual truth? The daily influences of secular authority and power make it complicated and difficult to listen for and connect to God’s steadfast call to remember that we are created from and called to belovedness. It is to this life that Pam Hawkins will draw our attention and interaction for two Wednesday nights, guided by Henri J.M. Nouwen’s classic writing, Life of the Beloved: Spiritual Living  in a Secular World. Come talk with others in the community about what it means to us to be and live as God’s beloved who strive to follow Christ. Facilitator: Pam Hawkins
