Adam received his Bachelor of Arts, Magna Cum Laude, from Randolph-Macon College where he majored in Religious Studies and minored in Western Philosophy, Musicology, and Ethics. He is currently working on his Master of Divinity at Vanderbilt.
He has been an intern at Belmont United Methodist Church since 2009. Prior to that, he worked for the Virginia Annual Conference in Youth, Young Adult, and Lay Leadership Ministries. Adam also worked at Holy Community United Methodist Church and is currently a enrolled in Clinical Pastoral Education as a Hospital Chaplain at Vanderbilt Children's Hospital.
Adam's family includes his parents, Earle and Jo Anne, who live in central Virginia, along with his sister, Heather. Peanut, the family dog, also lives with his sister.
He enjoys reading Russian literature, cycling, watching international soccer matches, cooking, listening to vinyl records, and traveling. When the weather is favorable, he also enjoys snowboarding, kayaking, boating, and riding ATV's.
