Building Information

Belmont's Building Committee has worked with the congregation, contractor, architects and architects to develop plans for the Community Center. The significant elements of the plan include: a new community center for large group dining, recreation, and conferencing, an enhanced and relocated Homeplace, elevator access to all floors of the education wing, additional parking, a youth mentoring ministry in the Edgehill community, construction of a United Methodist conference center in Malawi, updates to the existing structure including restrooms, and upgrades of heating and cooling equipment.

Timeline

Work completed to date:

·         Replacement of Education wing roof

·         Stone repair to Sanctuary

·         Safety enhancements to Weekday School

·         Homeplace relocated

·         Replacement of sanctuary roof

·         New playground

·         Utilities relocated

·         Metro alley closed (in old parking lot)
